Best face painting & balloon animals! Thank you so much for coming to our kids 4th birthday party the kids loved getting their faces painted and ballloon animals, even the adults got in on the face painting! Will use your company for our next party!
Santa Barbara Face Painting and Henna was at big hit at our granddaughter’s birthday party. I was not sure that 3-5 year old kids would want their faces painted, but I was certainly wrong. The artist was so kind and gentle, and fast! The kids loved seeing their faces, both boys and girls. Then there was the balloon designs; everything from swords for the boys to hats and dogs being walked by a balloon! When a balloon popped and the 4 year old cried, she assured him calmly that she could just make another one, problem solved. In all, I would definitely hire SB Face Painting and Balloon again…What fun the party was for all!
Sami Marx is not only an extremely talented artist, she’s also a wonderful person to have around while painting your face and henna tattoos. She is warm and kind when she works her magic with a paintbrush. She has so much talent and can make a remarkable amount of different super creative face creations with what seems like such ease. She is also punctual and thorough. I needed my face painted right before a Halloween party and she fit me in, came to my house right on time,, painted on my cat face make up in hardly any time, and it turned out amazing. She even enhanced my face painting in a way I hadn’t thought to ask and I looked better than what I had imagined I wanted it to look like.

Sam Marx and her associates did face painting for 2 our athletic events and made those events very successful. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn’t get enough of it. They were showing off their artwork to all their friends and parents. We will definitely be using Sam Marx and SB Face Painting for future events!
Santa Barbara Face Painting and Henna was great. She did henna for my daughter’s 16th birthday party and the kids loved it. She did some amazing work and was so nice and friendly. Thank you, I would definitely book with them again.
I thought I would take a chance and hire a face painter for my granddaughter’s second birthday. I am so happy we did. First of all, the face painter will be your princess (you can ask for Mickey or Minnie too). She had the attention of the small children (7 at our party) which is difficult at times. She can paint anything your heart desires, such as a Gibbon! I will hire Sammie again and again.
We had a princess-themed birthday party for our 3 year-old daughter and Samantha from SB Face Painting and Henna was amazing! She showed up on time and in a princess dress to match our theme. She’s an incredible artist and painted everything by hand without using stencils like some other face-painters use. Overall, our experience was wonderful and I highly recommend Santa Barbara Face Painting & Henna!
